An upgrade to .NET 8.0.4 in this release of Jubilant includes a security update. Maximum severity: Important. Please see these notable changes.
Node Packages Security
An upgrade to Node Package react-scripts (web development) includes security updates. Maximum severity: Minor. See WTC.91.

New
LV.7 - Log Viewer defaults to Entry ID order
The Log Viewer orders log entries by Entry ID by default. The user can chose to order by Entry ID or Date Time order (ascending or descending).
WTC.94 - Numeric Pad Enter key now sends Enter to host
Numeric Pad Enter key now sends Enter AID key to the host by default.
SI.7 - Update script preserves all settings
The JubilantUpdate.ps1 script now preserves all settings in the currently installed version of Jubilant.
Fixes
LV.6 - Log Viewer displays 5250 screens
The Log Viewer was not displaying 5250 screens. It was showing the raw ScreenBuffer JSON. This has been fixed. The Log Viewer displays the 5250 screen as expected.
HSS.40 - Clear Unit locks keyboard
5250 Clear Unit now locks the keyboard as expected. Previous builds did not.
WTC.92 - Keyboard Buffer respects keyboard lock
The keyboard buffer (type ahead) feature did not respect the keyboard lock. Previous builds sent key presses after every screen transition. It now only sends the next set of key presses stored in the buffer if the keyboard lock is unlocked.
WTC.93 - Saving settings resulted in a blank screen
Saving settings in the Web Terminal Client could result in a blank (white) page. This has been resolved in this build.

Minor updates to Node package "react-packages" (9.9.2 to 10.5.1).
Installation
Fresh Install
Please see the Jubilant Admin Manual for Fresh Install Instructions.
Upgrade
Note
Please note the specials steps below if upgrading from a 1.0.x build to a 1.1.x or later build.
If upgrading from Jubilant 1.0.x to 1.1.x extra steps must be carried out before and after the install steps below.
Upgrade is carried out using Jubilant scripts.
- Unzip the installer into a folder.
- Close any web browsers.
- Close any Services windows.
- Open PowerShell ISE as Administrator.
- In the PowerShell ISE open the Jubilant PowerShell script: "JubilantUpdate.ps1".
- Run the required script by pressing the green play / run script button on the toolbar.
- The upgrade of Jubilant is complete.
If this is an upgrade from Jubilant 1.0.x to 1.1.x, make sure the after install steps are also completed.
